Press freedom (with responsibility)
Like many people, I was shocked when it started to become clear in the 2010s just how far the press were prepared to go to get a story – or to manufacture one! I became engrossed in the subject for several years, contributing to the debate, including the following pieces:
- The Section 40 Debate Shows Just How Much Our Press Needs a Proper Regulator, Inforrm
- Reporters San Frontiers: not my idea of a knock-out, Inforrm
- Sir Alan Moses and the Culture Secretary, Inforrm
Magazines and journals
The list of magazines and journals I have written for since the 1970s includes: Accountancy, The Accountant, The Actuary, The Agenda, The Expert, Financial News, FourFourTwo, Journal of the Institute of Actuaries, Law Society Gazette, The Lawyer, Leasing Digest, Managing Intellectual Property, New Law Journal, Pensions Management, Solicitors Journal, The Times and TOP Graduate Career Guide.
Papers/dissertations
When a simple article just isn’t enough (but a book would be too much):
